Cosmopolitan, often called “cosmo,” is a seductive cocktail consisting of cointreau, vodka, cranberry juice, and lime juice. It belongs to the sour family and has a somewhat mysterious background. Some claim that its roots stretch back to the 1920s, but most agree that the modern recipe was shaped by various bartenders in the USA during the 1980s. The drink’s popularity soared in the 1990s, thanks in large part to Carrie Bradshaw in “Sex and the City.” When Madonna was seen sipping on a Cosmo at the Rainbow Room in 1996, its iconic status was further cemented. The combination of TV glamour and celebrity appeal made the Cosmopolitan an indispensable star in the bar world.
One of the most interesting interpretations comes from Laroy, where bartender Oscar Drigoris has created the “Coco Cosmo.” This drink offers an exotic twist with ingredients that give a taste of the tropics.

Here is the recipe for Coco Cosmo:
25 ml Vodka
15 ml Cointreau
30 ml Lime Juice
20 ml Coco Lopez
30 ml Cranberry Juice

Combine all ingredients in a shaker, shake well, and pour into a glass filled with ice. Serve and enjoy!
It is a perfect combination of tartness from the lime juice, sweetness from Coco Lopez, and the characteristic taste of cranberry juice, all balanced with the distinctive flavors of vodka and cointreau.
